‘Staggering’: NSW Police hunt raft of alleged | Australian Markets

Sydney transport staff have been subjected to an onslaught of current alleged violent assaults, police say, as a string of CCTV photographs are launched in hopes of making arrests.

On Friday, NSW Police launched photographs of 15 people they’re on the lookout for, who had been allegedly concerned in incidents courting back to November.

The 15 incidents contain Transport for NSW workers and members of the public allegedly being hit, kicked and spat on, uncovered to sexual acts, and an grownup allegedly directing a baby to swipe a staff bag earlier than stealing a telephone.

“A staggering number of violent offences my officers respond to are against Transport for NSW staff,” transport police unit Detective Superintendent Andrew Evans mentioned.
