RAC Arena announces increase to carpark rates from | Australian Markets
One of Perth’s busiest live performance and sporting venues has introduced an increase to its carpark rates.
RAC Arena shared the replace on Tuesday, revealing attendees will need to pay a little additional if they need to park their vehicle on the venue.
The will increase are between $1 and $2 relying on how many hours the vehicle is parked within the carpark.
The under costs will apply from June 3:
Non-event informal rates, Monday to Friday 6am-6pm:
- 0 – 1 hour $7 (up from $6)
- 1 – 2 hours $14 (up from $12)
- 2 – 3 hours $18 (up from $17)
Weekday fee, Monday to Friday 6am-6pm: $18 (up from $17)
Evening fee, Monday to Sunday 6pm-6am: $12 (up from $11)
An RAC Arena spokesperson stated the increase would help with operation prices.
“We’ve made a modest $1 increase to our weekday parking rate, the first adjustment in over two years,” they stated.
“This change helps us manage the operational cost, whilst continuing to be competitive with other carparks within our vicinity.
“It’s important to note that our event rate has remained unchanged since 2018.”
